Vase "Golden punica" (France, early 20th century)

This porcelain vase is made with techniques of covering, hand painting and gilding.

The term "Parisian porcelain" (Porcelaine de Paris, Vieux Paris) refers to the community of porcelain manufactories in Paris and its suburbs. Parisian production flourished after 1771, when the Saint-Yrieix la-Perche kaolin mine was opened.

The word "Made", visible from the fastening of the vase, is part of the "Made in France" mark. The marks with the name of the country in English were placed in the 1900s on items for export to the United States. In 1891, the McKinley Tariff Act was passed requiring goods imported into the United States to be labeled in English with the country of origin.
Marks "Made in ...", as on this vase, appeared in 1921.

The vase is in excellent condition, with an antique restoration on the bottom part of the roof, which does not affect the appearance and functionality.
