The exposition is based on our private collection, collected over many years of work in the antique business, and regularly replenished at auctions in different European cities. Our special priority - the auctions in France and Monaco.

When buying from Watel Antik, the client must understand that the lots being purchased are antique or vintage, with the appropriate traces of existence, time and history. In lots' descriptions we indicate in detail all the characteristics and condition at the time of sale as well as the information provided in the attribution of this lot, if it was purchased at the auction house. Before making a purchase you can ask us additional questions you are interested in and request more photos (by agreement). We draw your attention to the fact that lots are not subject to exchange and return.
If you are not yet completely sure of buying a lot you like or if you need additional advice, please send us the appropriate request form via the website, which is located on lot's page. To send it, you need to select items you are interested in and submit an application. If there is a request for additional consultation, the lot will be reserved for you within 24 hours. For regular customers, this service is available for 72 hours.

The lot weight on the site is indicated as "net", excluding packaging.

Due to the peculiarities of the packaging of antiques, delivery terms are discussed with each client individually.
Generally, an attribution is the determination of the credibility, authenticity, authorship, place and time of creation of a work based on an analysis of stylistic, technological and other features. In an auction house, the auctioneer is responsible for attribution of the lot. In France he or she is called "comissaire-priseure", in Austria and Germany - "Versteigerer". He or she not only analyzes and describes the lots, but also determines their price - the so-called "estimate" - and he or she also conducts the auction.
The majority of our lots have attributions from well-known European auction houses.
When you buy a lot with attribution, you will receive a corresponding certificate.
