History

The company was founded by Bruno Zaramella in 1948 in Padova and mostly manufactured cutlery, 925 sterling silver of the classic models: "San Marco", "Barocco" and "Impero". These models are produced till today.

Over time, the need to offer something new motivated Zaramella's craftsmen to redirect themselves to modern minimalist models with the same Italian quality and the 30PD Z 925 hallmark on each product. With elegance and know-how, the Italian silversmiths at Zaramella have applied their talent to the creation of various home accessories.

Since 1948 Zaramella Argenti Srl has been producing items 925 sterling silver, which is confirmed by the company's certified hallmark 30PD Z 925. Sterling silver is the 925/1000 standard. It means a product made from such silver includes 92.5% silver and up to 7.5% other metals. With alloys (mainly copper), sterling silver is harder than pure silver, making it more durable. The hallmark on the handle of the cutlery is a sign of quality and origin.
