France, middle of 20th century, relief porcelain, signatures of the decorator Limoges Ribes.

The vase is painted by hand using the techniques of cobalt covering, painting with cobalt and gold.

Ribes was one of the most talented Limoges masters of his time. He was not only an owner of decorating studio, but also worked with items for other Limoges manufactories.

The signatures on the vase indicate the authorship of the master Ribes and the hand-work during its creation.
