Lovely porcelain white tea set for two, or tête-à-tête, decorated with hand painted floral pattern and gilding inserts. Set includes tray, teapot, sugar bowl, creamer and two duos (pairs) of cup and saucer.

The term "Paris porcelain" (Porcelaine de Paris, Vieux Paris) implies a community of porcelain manufactories in Paris and its suburbs. The heyday of Parisian production dates back to 1771, when the Saint-Yrieix la-Perche kaolin mine was opened.

Excellent condition, with minor traces of age and usage, microscopic chips on bottom of lids.
