France, late 19th century, bronze, crystal, mirror. Set includes vase and mirror stand.
Casting with gilding of very high quality, all decorative elements are clearly visible and detailed. The inner crystal vase is made using the technique of hand cutting and engraving.
Such mirror stands were a very popular piece of furniture in the 19th and early 20th centuries and were used as stand for jardinieres, vases, flower pots, etc.
Minor traces of usage are visible on the mirror. Condition of the lot, given its very venerable age, can be assessed as excellent.
