France, beginning of 20th century, porcelain, marks Limoges André François.

The porcelain plates are made using the techniques of covering and gilding.

André François, a renowned artist, had his own atelier in Limoges, where he created and decorated porcelain.

Our plates have two marks of the master: "Limoges A.F. France", the mark of Andre François himself from 1919 to 1942, and "Porcelaines Limoges Francois" - the mark of the decorating atelier from 1919 to 1934.
The Limoges Unique brand was registered in 1928-1929. The Limoges Porcelain Manufacturers Association (l'Union des Fabricants de Porcelaine de Limoges), organized in 1925. It denotes the authenticity of Limoges products.

There are slight traces of usage on the plates.
