The service is made with the use of hand-painted decal and semi-glaze techniques.

In 1948 artists Nardon and Lafarge opened their own porcelain manufactory and a decorating atelier, where they produced exquisite sets.

Limoges, French municipality, has been known for its decorative arts since the Middle Ages. From the beginning of the 19th century, when a kaolin mine was opened nearby, Limoges became one of the world centers for the production of porcelain and even competed with the royal manufacture of Sévres. The municipality is home to many factories, studios and shops specializing in porcelain.

Tureen is a kind of soupware. It is an oval and deep dish with a low ornate lid for stews and soups. Tyurina first appeared in France in the 18th century and served as a luxurious decoration of the dining table.
